Periscope Classroom Kit

Periscope Classroom Kit

Features

A periscope is the most commonly used optical device for observing from a concealed or protected location or when an obstacle obstructs the normal line of sight. In its simplest form, the two reflective surfaces are held parallel to each other at both ends of a pipe and at 45 degrees to the axis. In this fun and engaging classroom STEM event, students can create and test their own periscopes to investigate the law of reflection. The kit includes assembly instructions, background information, and scientific explanation to assist the teacher at all stages of the activity and ultimately the classroom discussion.
